Goals on the agenda as Leipzig host Bremen

RB Leipzig sit third in the Bundesliga standings and appear on course to secure a spot in next season’s Champions League but they face a tricky tie against Werder Bremen on Sunday.

Leipzig should be expected to win but they are a short price to do so, and as Bremen gave Bayern Munich a bit of a scare last time out in a 2-1 defeat it makes sense to look at other markets for our main bet and both teams to score appeals.

Bremen can find a way through

Leipzig are generally strong defensively at home and have conceded just 15 goals in as many Bundesliga games at the Red Bull Arena this season, but Bremen rarely draw a blank.

Leipzig are the team with a target, however, as Bremen look safe from the drop even if they are not mathematically there just yet, and should be able to claim all three points. A 2-1 win for the hosts is the correct score selection in a repeat of their first meeting.

Christopher Nkunku is Leipzig’s top scorer this term with 13 goals, two of which have come in his last three games, and the Frenchman can add to his haul on Sunday.
