Ross County vs Dundee United Predictions

• Ross County have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last three meetings with Dundee United.
• The hosts have witnessed fewer than three goals in six of their last seven home league games.
• There have been fewer than three goals scored in nine of the visitors’ last 11 away matches.

Toothless Ross County

The hosts have hit somewhat of a dry spell as they’ve hit the back of the net on just one occasion across their last four outings. That goal came in their last match against Rangers but it didn’t exactly have much of an impact on the final result as Rangers ran out 4-1 winners. The biggest concern for Ross County has been the number of goals conceded as they’ve shipped 59 goals in 37 matches and that’s something they’ll look to improve on ahead of the next campaign.

The visitors play knowing that a win could possibly send them up to fourth above Motherwell as they currently sit just a single point behind in fifth place. Dundee United were nearly crashed the party at Tannadice Park on Wednesday night when they equalised against Celtic, but they were unable to find another goal and it finished as a 1-1 draw. Dundee United have not been as impressive when it comes to away fixtures though and have netted seven fewer goals on their travels than on home soil.

Dull affair expected

This should be an extremely tight encounter and whilst we think the visitors are the more likely side to claim victory, we don’t see a high number of goals being scored. We also don’t think both teams will get on the scoresheet and so under 2.5 goals with both teams not scoring will be our play.
