Bahia hoping to pile the misery on Sao Paulo

Sao Paulo have struggled this season, failing to win any of their first nine games and sitting in the relegation zone as a result. They were finally able to claim three points in midweek when they beat Internacional 2-0, climbing into 16th position as a result.

Bahia have had a much better time of things so far, winning five of their 10 games played and sitting in sixth place. They’ve won their last two games without conceding and know a win here could lift them as high as third in the Serie A table.

Bahia’s away form is among the best in the league with the side losing just one of their four games on the road. On the other side of things, Sao Paulo have yet to win a game at home in four attempts. With that in mind, and looking at the odds, it seems like Bahia are the value selection here.
