Leeds and Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Leeds have won all six of their Championship games in 2024 and should have no issues against Swansea, who have lost four of their last five games. Both teams have scored in five of the Swans’ last seven home matches and the same outcome should be backed in this clash.

Leeds 2-1

Reason for tip

The reverse fixture so Leeds win 3-1 but they may have to work a little bit harder in Wales as Swansea have begun to look more resolute under Luke Williams as his methods become more familiar, so 2-1 looks a likelier scoreline this time around.

Swansea City vs Leeds Predictions

  • Swansea have won only two of their last ten Championship home matches, losing five
  • Leeds have won their last six league matches and won the reverse fixture 3-1
  • Both teams have scored in five of the Swans’ last seven Championship home games

Leeds likely to continue fine form

Leeds have been exceptional in 2024 following back-to-back defeats at the end of last year, winning all six of their Championship games – five of those to nil – and qualifying for the FA Cup last-16, with their fine form likely to continue against a Swansea side still finding their feet under Luke Williams.

The Swans landed a much-needed win over Hull on Saturday but three defeats in a row preceded that victory, with one of those coming against lowly Plymouth, and they could find themselves coming away without a point once again on Tuesday.

Leeds have won their last two Championship away games, against Cardiff and Bristol City who are both rivals of Swansea, and should continue that form at the Liberty Stadium.

Both sides to score in Swansea

However, the Whites may not have it all their own way in Wales, as the Swansea have shown a knack for scoring against the league’s top sides in recent weeks.

The Swans managed to net in defeats to the Championship’s top two Leicester and Southampton last month while they also managed two against Ipswich, another team in with a shout of automatic promotion, at Portman Road earlier in the season.

Swansea also netted in the reverse fixture at Elland Road and should be backed to score in a defeat to Leeds once more.
