Swansea City vs Stoke City Predictions

• The Swans have lost five of their last seven at home
• Stoke have lost four of their last six on the road

Nothing to separate Swans and Potters in relegation six pointer

15th placed Swansea may be above Stoke by a point in the table but just five points separate them with the bottom three and they could struggle to  pull themselves further clear of the relegation zone in this midweek battle at the Swansea.com Stadium.

The Swans have won just one of their last six games in the Championship and Luke Williams’ side have also lost each of their last two – failing to score against both QPR (1-0) and Middlesbrough (2-0).

The Potters meanwhile have improved in recent weeks but continue to find three points elusive after successive draws against Huddersfield and West Brom – although Steven Schumacher’s men did come from behind in both to salvage a point.

In what looks destined to be a tight game in South Wales, this may be regarded as a “must not lose” rather than a “must win” encounter and so a point apiece could be the likeliest result, and our prediction is that both sides will find the back of the net in a 1-1 draw.
