Match Win Percentage – 2019/20 season
(Top 10 players in the draw with minimum of 15 matches played)
“Anything But Faithless” has stepped up his game the last couple of seasons most notably making his way to last season world championship semi-final. His consistency has seen him rise to number 10 in the world rankings with four quarter-finals and a final already this season the Tamworth potter is a man in form.
This season 74% match win rate (23/31)
“The Jester from Leicester” looks eager to regain his number one which he held for so long. Typically his match game is rock solid and he is very difficult to beat even when not on top form. Selby will be looking to add to his recent success in the English Open here and he appears to be the man to beat from quarter two in the draw.
This season 66% match win rate (31/47)
“Pistol” has been knocking on the door for another ranking title having make 4 semi-finals already this season. Having the home crowd on his side here may inspire him to add to his five career ranking titles. Also backing up Allen’s impressive form statistically he currently has the third highest match win percentage on tour among the leading professionals.
This season 76% match win rate (19/25)
“The Magician” is another man on top form right now sitting second in the highest match win percentage for the season. His most recent success came in lifting the China Championship proving he still has what it takes to get over the winning line. Fighting off a spirited come back from Mark Williams in the final that day showing his form from last season was more of a blip than his true level.
This season 79% match win rate (23/29)
