Best bet – Aston Villa to beat Newcastle

Newcastle fell to a late defeat against Manchester City and find themselves sliding down the table. Now in tenth, they have suffered four straight league defeats and have been knocked out of the Carabao Cup and the Champions League.

Aston Villa, by contrast, are second in the table and can thank their home form for a lot of that. They have the best home record in the top flight, dropping just two points from ten assignments at Villa Park. They look good value to make it ten wins from 11 on Tuesday.

Best bet – Everton to beat Fulham

Everton are without a win in four in the Premier League after a rough run which pitted them against three of the top five. However, the Toffees have won half of their away games this term, including four wins from five against the bottom eight.

Before a tough couple of trips to Wolves and Tottenham, Everton had won five of six league trips. Now they head to a Fulham side who haven’t drawn at home in the league all season, winning six and losing four of their matches at Craven Cottage. With Marco Silva’s team losing four of their last five league games to nil, back him to fall short against his former side.

Best bet – Wolves to beat Manchester United

Wolves look a decent bet to beat Manchester United at Molineux on Thursday, especially when you consider how Gary O’Neil’s men have performed on home soil.

Wanderers are unbeaten in eight Premier League home games including a win over Manchester City, while Brighton and Liverpool are the only away teams to win at Molineux.

In contrast, United haven’t won any of their last four league away games and have scored just once during that run.

Best bet – Wolves to beat Manchester United

Wolves look a nice price at home to Manchester United, who have suffered back-to-back away defeats at West Ham and Nottingham Forest.

Gary O’Neil’s side stretched their unbeaten run in all competitions to six with Monday’s goalless draw at Brighton and they have excelled at Molineux, winning five and drawing three of their last eight league games. Those efforts include wins over Manchester City, Tottenham and Chelsea.

Best bet – Draw & BTTS in Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal

A score draw between Nottingham Forest and Arsenal. Forest have improved under Nuno Espirito Santo and picked up a deserved win against Manchester United in their last game at the City Ground.

The Gunners got back to winning ways after a poor end to 2023, but they
have lost each of their last three encounters in Nottingham and could see another winless visit.
