Alaves going down, but not without a fight

Alaves have already been relegated from La Liga, but that is down to their shocking away record, with just six of their 31 points coming on the road.

At home they have been tough to beat, and in fact head into this fixture having won three in a row at the Estadio de Mendizorroza, where they have lost just two of their last ten.

Manager Julio Velázquez is yet to taste defeat on home soil after taking charge in April, while Alaves have suffered only two losses in Basque Country to teams in the bottom half of the table.

Cadiz teetering on the brink

Cadiz need to match or better Mallorca’s result to maintain their place in the top flight, but a run of one win in seven on the road gives little hope of picking up three points here.

Sergio took charge in January and has picked up five victories in 19 matches, but only two of those have come in eight on their travels, one of which was against relegated Levante.
