Football Betting Tips
Both Teams to Score & Win Treble Tip
Willem II have conceded in 73% of their away trips this season, but only three sides have claimed more away points this term. The hosts have lost their last three and have conceded at least twice in four of their last five, losing at home to every side they’ve faced that are currently above them in the table.
PEC Zwolle have won their last eight games in the league and they’ve won eight of their last nine on the road. However, they meet a Roda side who have seen BTTS land in 70% of their home games, having scored in 90% of their matches at home this term.
Udinese have seen both teams net in five of their last seven games, while Verona have only failed to score against Inter in their last five outings. Udinese beat Verona 2-1 in October’s return fixture, and the Zebrette have only been outscored by six teams in Serie A this season. Verona have only taken three points on the road this term, a league-low figure.
Both Teams to Score Accumulator Tip
Gornik have seen both teams score in six of their last seven away games and that streak looks good to continue against mid-table Cracovia who return to action after a poor run of friendly games.
Udinese have seen both teams net in five of their last seven games, while Verona have only failed to score against Inter in their last five outings, claiming more points in their last four games than they did in their first 15 this campaign. Udinese have also gone seven home games without a shutout.
Both teams have scored in seven of Villarreal’s last eight games. Vallecano meanwhile have conceded two goals in three of their last four in La Liga but they average 1.22 goals per trip.
Guimaraes have lost their last three games and they’ve kept just one clean sheet in their last five. Chaves have seen BTTS land in four of their last five and they’ve scored in six of their last seven trips.
Match Goals Treble Tip
70% of the hosts’ home games this term have seen over 2.5 goals, while at least three have been scored in 73% of Willem II’s trips. The hosts have conceded twice in four of their last five league games and the visitors have conceded in 70% of their league games this term.
PEC Zwolle have scored 2.78 goals per away trip this term and 78% of their away games have seen over 2.5 goals scored. However, they meet a Roda side who have seen exactly three goals scored per home game, having notched in 90% of their matches at home.
Villarreal have won three of their last four home league games, with three of those matches, and nine of their 13 outings at la Ceramica this season, containing at least three goals. There have also been in excess of two strikes in four of Rayo Vallecano’s last seven away La Liga outings, as well as four of their last eight in the league at any venue.
Bet of the Day Tip
Udinese have seen both teams net in five of their last seven games, while Verona have only failed to score against Inter in their last five outings, claiming more points in their last four games than they did in their first 15 this campaign. Udinese have also gone seven home games without a shutout.
Correct Score Double Tip
Derby have scored at least two goals in their last five matches, including back-to-back 2-1 victories over Bolton and Port Vale. West Ham meanwhile have only kept two clean sheets in their last nine, conceding exactly twice on five occasions, including a 2-1 loss at Crystal Palace.
Villarreal have won three of their last four home games, two of them by a 2-1 margin, while they have won nine times in 13 home clashes against Rayo Vallecano, scoring at least twice in the last seven. Vallecano meanwhile have conceded two goals in three of their last four in La Liga, including a 2-1 reverse against Real Betis.
Accumulator Tip
Derby are on a run of six successive victories, while they are also unbeaten in 14 outings since losing on penalties to Liverpool in the League Cup. West Ham meanwhile have suffered four defeats in their last seven away games and won just two of their half a dozen outings since the World Cup.
Udinese have seen both teams net in five of their last seven games, while Verona have only failed to score against Inter in their last five outings, claiming more points in their last four games than they did in their first 15 this campaign. Udinese have also gone seven home games without a shutout.
Both of these sides are struggling, but the visitors are winless in their last nine league trips and they’ve lost four of their last six on the road. Meanwhile, Zaragoza are above Ponferradina in the table and can move closer to safety with a third win in four at home.
Bet to Net Best Double Tip
McGoldrick is Derby’s top scorer this season but eight of his nine League One goals have come at home this term. He’s scored twice in two appearances in the FA Cup this term and he can find a way past a lacklustre West Ham defence.
Beto has scored seven Serie A goals for Udinese this term despite making only 11 starts and remains their biggest goal threat. He’s got a solid record at home and should be able to punish a poor Verona defence.
Home Heroes Long Haul Accumulator Tip
Udinese won the reverse fixture 2-1 and can boost their bid for European football with three points at home against the worst travellers in Serie A.
Carlisle have won their last three games and are unbeaten in six at home, so back them to claim maximum points in this Cumbrian derby.
Toulouse won four of their first five games after the World Cup break and can make the most of home advantage against Troyes, who tend to struggle on the road with seven defeats in 10 away Ligue 1 games so far.
Real Madrid have dominated this fixture for well over a decade as Valencia haven’t won at the Bernabeu since 2008, losing seven of their last eight trips to this part of the Spanish capital. Los Blancos are unbeaten at home in the league, winning five of their seven games so far, and they can claim a three-point haul on Thursday.
Bilbao have four wins in their last seven at home and their only defeats during that run have come against the two Madrid clubs, and they can see off relegation-threatened Cadiz on Friday.
Newcastle vs Southampton Bet Builder Tip
James Ward-Prowse to have one or more shots on target
Southampton’s James Ward-Prowse is averaging 1.1 shots-per-game and tends to be fairly accurate, with 0.5 of those on target and a further 0.3 blocked. The midfielder will be on set piece duties and Saints have to go on the attack as they trail 1-0 after defeat in the first leg, so back Ward-Prowse to at least test the keeper.
Kieran Trippier to score or assist
Kieran Trippier will be on set piece duties for Newcastle and has four assists in 20 Premier League games and one in three outings in this competition. Trippier averages 3.2 key passes per-game in the EFL Cup, so back him to either grab a goal himself or set up a team-mate against Saints.
Lyanco to be shown a card
Southampton defender Lyanco has been a bit of a card magnet recently with three yellow cards in his last four appearances, including one in the first leg of this tie.
Champions League Last 16 Accumulator Tip
AC Milan were outclassed in their meetings with Chelsea in the group stage and Tottenham should prove too strong for the Italian champions. Conte doesn’t have the great European record but the tactician should guide Spurs into the last eight.
PSG have had some European slips in the past, but Christophe Galtier is the tactician they needed to turn a great squad into a functioning team. Bayern have been far from their best this term and should fall short in this rematch of the 2020 final.
Club Brugge made a red-hot start to the group stage but they tailed off, while new boss Scott Parker has made a less-than-stellar start. Benfica lead the Primeira Liga and they were unbeaten in a group containing PSG and Juventus, winning home and away to the Italian side.
Chelsea have been awful in recent weeks and boss Graham Potter is struggling to get his side to perform. While they are making moves in the window, their midfield will need a long-term fix and Jude Bellingham should prove his quality by sending the German side through.
Liverpool have been struggling in midfield this term and their pressing has dropped off, while their forward line is less threatening without Sadio Mane. The Reds will want revenge after losing the Champions League final to Real, but they have gone backwards since that defeat and the Spanish giants still have tons of experience with a knack for European action.
Napoli announced themselves on the European stage with a 4-1 win over Liverpool and the Partenopei have been in storming form all season. They are soaring clear in Serie A and with a favourable draw they can step into the last eight.
Porto have home advantage in this tie and they come into it having won their last four games in this competition to force their way into the next round. Inter qualified thanks to a poor campaign from Barcelona and they have struggled in Europe in recent years.
Man City made the final in 2021 and were seconds shy of a return last year. They’ve added Erling Haaland since then and he should help them sail by the last 16 once again, having been handed a straightforward tie against a Leipzig side who are no match for City’s strength.
