Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Almeria have scored in 10 of their last 11 games on home soil, while they have also seen both teams net in three of their four outings since their return to La Liga. Osasuna on the other hand have failed to keep a clean sheet in eight away league fixtures, with four of the last six seeing both teams score

Draw 1-1

Reason for tip

Almeria have won one and lost one at home so far, and they are generally tough to beat at the Power Horse Stadium, where they have been defeated just twice in 11 outings. Osasuna on the other hand may have won three of their four games so far, but each of those victories has been at home – they have picked up just one win in eight on the road

Almeria vs Osasuna Predictions

  • Both teams have scored in three of Almeria’s four games
  • Osasuna have seen both teams net in four of their last six away league fixtures
  • Osasuna have only one won of their last eight away La Liga matches

Can Almeria bounce back?

After an initially positive start to the season, Almeria are back to averaging one point per game following a 1-0 defeat to Real Valladolid last Monday.

That was the first time this campaign that Rubi’s side have failed to score, with their previous three outings all seeing both teams net.

Their only win so far came at the Power Horse Stadium, where they beat Sevilla 2-1, while they have also netted in 10 of their last 11 fixtures on home soil.

Will Osasuna revert to type on the road?

On the face of it, Osasuna have had an excellent start to the season, picking up three wins from four matches, but each of those victories came on home soil.

On the road, they have picked up just one win in eight, failing to keep a clean sheet in the process, while four of the last six have seen both teams net.

Both teams have also netted in half of their four games this season, with Jagoba Arrasate’s side failing to score in only three of their last 14 La Liga fixtures.

I predict that both teams will score in this game, but I think the two teams might play out a stalemate, with 1-1 my correct score prediction.
