Arouca vs Sporting Lisbon Predictions

Saturday’s Primeira Liga clash between Arouca and Sporting at Estadio Municipal de Arouca looks set to be an entertaining encounter, with over 3.5 goals the recommended bet. Sporting have scored in 37 games in a row, including a 6-0 win over AVS in December.

Arouca are 13th in the Primeira Liga, with four wins, five draws and nine losses from their 18 games this season, while Sporting are second having won 14, drawn three and lost just once.

Arouca’s recent Primeira Liga results have been a mixed bag, with two wins, two draws and two defeats in their last six outings. They got a 1-0 win over AVS last weekend, but Sporting are unbeaten in six games against Arouca and have gone 14 games unbeaten in the league.

Both teams have shown signs of defensive vulnerability. Arouca have conceded 42 goals in 18 games this season, while Sporting have conceded on each of their last four Primeira Liga away games.

There have been four or more goals in ten of Arouca’s 18 Primeira Liga games this season, and Sporting have won five of their last seven league games by at least two goals. A 3-1 away win gets the vote for correct-score bettors.
