Austria have it all to do

It’s all or nothing for Austria as they will be relegated to the second tier of the Nations League if they fail to end a run of four matches without a victory. They lost 2-0 against France on Thursday and Ralf Rangnick expressed his disappointment in the manner of which they conceded. However, a victory may not even be enough here if France are able to claim all three points against Denmark.

The visitors have been exceptional since a defeat in the reverse fixture against Austria. That’s the only loss they have suffered this campaign and boss Zlatko Dalić stated how impressed he was with his defence saying “we really have five or six great stoppers”. They’ll be relying on their backline once again and they will fancy their chances of a result here, especially as they have suffered just a solitary defeat in the 14 matches they’ve played since being knocked out of Euro 2020.
