Barcelona to increase the pressure

Barcelona host Valladolid at Camp Nou on Monday night with the La Liga title still within sight for the hosts.

Barcelona’s early season form was rocky but they are now unbeaten in 18 games and have scored 2.39 goals per game on average this season. Their recent form has been incredible, winning 15 of their last 18 and they are now just four points behind Atletico at the top of the table.

Valladolid have struggled all season, winning just five times and they come into this game with just one win in their last six games. They’ve averaged less than a goal a game this season, a worrying total with relegation still being a real threat ahead of their trip to Barcelona.

We can’t see Barcelona slipping up in this game and we think it should be a handsome victory for the home side. As a result, we’re predicting that Barcelona win and there will be over 3.5 goals in the game.  It should be another dominant display from the hosts, who have scored 18 goals in their last six matches and we’re forecasting a 4-0 triumph for the home side.
