Bayern can build on fine record against PSG

Bayern Munich have won three of their last four meetings with Paris Saint-Germain and the Bundesliga giants are again worth siding with when these sides clash in the Champions League.

Neither of these teams have made explosive starts to the new-look Champions League with Bayern down in 17th spot and PSG in 25th going into this meeting at the Allianz Arena.

But Bayern looked resolute in their 1-0 win over Benfica on matchday four and they have been superb in the Bundesliga, winning nine of their 11 matches under Vincent Kompany this term.

Expect goals at the Allianz Arena

A 4-1 humbling by Barcelona in October raised eyebrows in the Bayern Munich camp but they responded with a six-game winning run in all competitions and, remarkably, they have not conceded in that streak.

A win should therefore be on the cards at the Allianz Arena with home support behind them but a clean sheet may be harder to come by.

PSG have collected just a point from their last two Champions League assignments against PSV and Atletico Madrid but they scored in both games and have netted seven times in their last two Ligue 1 fixtures.

Bayern Munich to win and both teams to score is the best bet, while 2-1 looks like a decent correct score prediction with four of the last five meetings between the sides settled by one goal.
