Brentford vs Leicester City Predictions
- Brentford have won with both teams scoring in six of their seven matches on home soil this season.
- The Foxes have scored in six of their eight away matches in competitions this season.
- Yoane Wissa has bagged seven goals in 11 outings this season.
Bees buzzing on home soil
Brentford have struggled on their travels this season but they are a different beast on home soil and we predict another home win for the Bees in which both teams get on the scoresheet at the Community Stadium.
That has been the outcome in six of their seven home matches this season and they should be too strong for a Leicester side with just one win away from the King Power Stadium this term.
That 3-2 victory came at bottom side Southampton and although a similar scoreline looks likely here, the three points are likely to fall the way of the home side.
Brentford beat Bournemouth 3-2 last time out in front of their own fans and a repeat feat is our prediction for this contest.
Goals to flow in west London
Brentford don’t really do low-scoring affairs and it we predict another entertaining contest in west London.
Ten of Brentford’s 15 matches in all competitions have featured over 2.5 goals and a goalfest is expected once more.
Six of the last seven meetings between these two have seen both teams get on the scoresheet and five of those fixtures have featured at least three goals.
Five of Leicester’s last six matches have finished with both teams scoring and they will be keen to impress following the sacking of boss Steve Cooper earlier this week.
An open affair looks likely and Brentford to win 3-2 is our correct score prediction.
Wissa too hot to handle
Yoane Wissa has bagged seven goals in 11 games this season and he looks a genuine contender to extend his scoring streak.
Wissa’s haul includes two-goal salvos against Ipswich and Bournemouth and he should get chances to add to his tally against a leaky Leicester rearguard.
The Foxes have kept just three clean sheets in 15 matches this season and the DR Congo forward could be too hot to handle on Saturday.
