Draw

Reason for tip

Burnley’s improvement in recent weeks has given them more than a fighting chance in completing a great escape and they could inch closer to survival against a Wolves side that has lost three of their last four. However, wins have been hard to come by for the Clarets this season and so they may have to settle for a point on Tuesday night.

Draw 1-1

Reason for tip

Six of the last seven meetings between these two sides have seen less than a goal separate them come the full time whistle. Three of these have ended all square and two of these draws have finished with a 1-1 scoreline and so a repeat could be on the cards.

David Datro Fofana To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

David Datro Fofana was unable to feature against Chelsea last weekend due to loan agreement restrictions but he will be eager to return to the fray with a goal after netting in his last two starts. With four goals and an assist in his first eight appearances for the Clarets, the Ivorian has hit the ground running at Turf Moor and will undoubtedly be the danger man for the hosts.

Burnley to edge closer to survival with valuable draw

After coming from behind twice to come away with a point in a 2-2 draw at Chelsea at the weekend – despite playing over half the game with ten men – the Clarets look to be putting up a fight in their attempt to avoid returning to the Championship at the first time of asking.

Two draws either side of a vitally important 2-1 victory at home to fellow strugglers Brentford has moved Vincent Kompany’s men to within four points of safety and they inch even closer to that coveted 17th place when they host a Wolves side that have stuttered in recent weeks.

Gary O’Neil’s men ended February with four wins from six in all competitions, moving them to within sight of a surprise European spot, but three defeats from four games in March – including a 3-2 loss at home to second-tier Coventry in the FA Cup – has all but undone their earlier promise.

With so much on the line, all signs point to a close and nervy encounter at Turf Moor and, with no more than one goal separating six of the last seven head-to-heads, there could very little to separate the two sides. Three of these meetings ended all square – two of which coming via 1-1 scorelines – a repeat score draw is a result that certainly catches the eye.

Fofana to come back with a bang

Burnley striker David Datro Fofana had to sit out Burnley’s 2-2 draw with the Blues last time out due to loan restrictions. However, given his record in front of goal prior to this enforced omission, the Ivorian should be one of the favourites to get on the scoresheet.

The 21 year old joined the Clarets in January and has scored four goals across his eight appearances for Kompany’s side, including a brace in a 2-2 draw with Fulham on his second appearance.

Fofana has found the back of the net in each of his last two starts for Burnley – in the win over Burnley as well as a scorcher at West Ham – and will likely be the major threat in front of goal for the home side on Tuesday night.
