Chelsea vs Stoke Betting Tips & Predictions

Chelsea’s resurgence under Guus Hiddink might not be all in vain. With just ten games left to play, Chelsea actually have a chance of making the top four in the Premier League despite their disastrous first half of their title defence season.

They are unbeaten in 12 Premier League games and have won their last three on the bounce. Their only defeat during Hiddink’s second reign has been a 2-1 loss to PSG in the first leg of their Champions League tie.

This resurgence has largely been down to the improved performances of their top players, and with those performances goals have come. Chelsea have scored 15 goals in their last five games in all competitions and have only failed to score two or more on one occasion.

Stoke have managed to break out of their poor run of form in the last few weeks and come into this match on the back of three straight victories in the Premier League. But before this trio of wins they had lost four of their last five.

Away from home Stoke have lost three of their last five and conceded eight goals in the process. This might not seem overly leaky, but it includes matches against Crystal Palace and Bournemouth.

This, coupled with Chelsea’s excellent scoring record in recent weeks, makes odds of 8/13 for Chelsea Over 1.5 Team Goals look very good value to me. I’m going for a Chelsea win as well, with a correct score prediction of 3-1 looking good at 12/1.
