Another low-scoring clash for hosts

Goals could be at a premium when Chesterfield host Bristol Rovers in League Two on Saturday, and under 2.5 goals looks the best bet. There have been under 2.5 goals in Chesterfield’s two games this season.

Chesterfield finished seventh in League Two last season, then lost out to Walsall in the playoffs, while Bristol Rovers were relegated from League One.

Chesterfield beat Cheltenham 2-0 in their last League Two game last weekend, an excellent result for Chesterfield who were priced as 21/20 favourites.

Rovers, meanwhile, have started the season with consecutive losses, but could improve as they adjust to life with Darrell Clarke back in the dugout.

A 1-0 away win for Bristol Rovers looks the best correct-score bet. Five of Chesterfield’s last seven League Two games have ended with at least one of the sides failing to score, and five of Chesterfield’s 14 defeats last season were by a 1-0 scoreline.
