Both Atlanta and Tampa Bay enter this matchup ice-cold, with the Falcons spiraling behind a regressing defense, and a turnover-filled stretch from backup QB Kirk Cousins. The Bucs haven’t been much better after a brutal loss to New Orleans, where Baker Mayfield struggled and an injury-riddled offense continued its slide down the EPA rankings. However, the weather was brutal in that game so the lackluster effort can be somewhat forgiven, and with Tristan Wirfs and Mike Evans trending toward a return, the Bucs are the healthier, more motivated side with far more to play for in the NFC South race. Expect that to make the difference in this one.
