Rangers need to improve away record

Rangers produced one of their best performances under Philippe Clement when beating Celtic 3-0 last week but followed that by dropping points away from home again on Sunday as they were held to a 3-3 draw by Hibs.

Now they go on the road again as they visit Dundee on Thursday, the Light Blues have now won just three of their last 12 away league games and that is not up to scratch for a team chasing the title.

The Dee have struggled with their consistency this season but did beat St Johnstone 3-1 on the road at the weekend, bouncing back from a 2-1 defeat to rivals Dundee United last week.

Rangers to edge victory

The hosts are the top scorers in the bottom half of the table, netting 33 times in 21 games, and could cause plenty of issues for an injury-hit Gers backline.

The away team struggled to contain Hibs at set pieces on Sunday and that is surely an area that the hosts will be looking to exploit. 

Rangers will be aiming to claw back any of what could be a 16-point deficit to Celtic by the time they play here but they may not have everything their own way, take both teams to score and over 2.5 goals.

The Dee have lost four of their last six however so correct score backers should side with a 3-1 win for the Light Blues.
