Stuttgart look back on track

Stuttgart have been one of the Bundesliga’s surprise packages this season but in the last month they have suffered a bit of a wobble.

At the end of October and start of November, Stuttgart lost to Hoffenheim and Heidenheim respectively, causing them to slip down the division.

But they bounced back in their final game before the hiatus, edging Borussia Dortmund 2-1 and that should have done their confidence the world of good.

They have recorded eight wins from 11 games in the Bundesliga this season and are six points better off than this weekend’s opponents Eintracht Frankfurt, who have won only one of their last three games.

Expect goals at Deutsche Bank Park

Frankfurt have also won only two of their five home games in the Bundesliga and they are worth taking on against Stuttgart at Deutsche Bank Park.

As for a correct score pick, Stuttgart won their last game before the international break 2-1 against Borussia Dortmund and that looks a wise pick with goals expected.

Both teams have scored in three of Frankfurt’s last four league contests and the net could bulge at both ends once again.
