Galatasaray vs Lazio Predictions
- Galatasaray are unbeaten in their last eight matches.
- Lazio have lost five of their last six away games.
- Lazio have lost nine of their last 11 away Europa League matches.
Gala can extend unbeaten run against Lazio
Galatasaray looked to be in for a tough season when they were summarily dumped out of the Champions League at the second qualifying round stage when sparked 7-2 on aggregate by PSV Eindhoven.
But Fatih Terim’s men are a much different side now then they were just a few weeks ago after bringing in a new left-back, two ball-playing midfielders and a mobile striker in the transfer window.
The addition of Halil Dervisoglu has given Terim the option to play a lone striker and offer more protection to a defence that looked very shaky against PSV by deploying an extra midfielder.
Results have improved and the Turkish giants will be looking to extend an eight-game unbeaten run against Lazio this week.
Maurizio Sarri’s side arrive on the back of a woeful display against AC Milan in which the coach said his players failed to execute his gameplan.
The Serie A side are expected to make a number of changes and bring some fringe players in to start, which could leave them vulnerable to a shock.
Lazio’s recent away record in European competitions isn’t great anyway with only two wins from their last 15 away trips – and ten losses.
While backing Galatasaray to inflict another road defeat may be tempting at the price, the double chance market offers a solid return for much less risk.
Lazio drew all three of their away contests in the Champions League group stage last season 1-1 and we suggest you look no further than that when selecting a correct score bet.
