Granada to gain first victory over Los Armeros

Eibar haven’t lost to Granada in nine previous meetings but that could all change at Los Carmenes this Thursday evening.

Los Armeros have won seven of those encounters including their 2-0 victory at Ipurua in January’s reverse fixture, though there’s little to suggest that Jose Luis Mendilibar’s side can get anything from this midweek clash.

Eibar are rock bottom after failing to win any of their last 14 league starts and ten of those games have ended in defeat. The visitors are also without a victory in their last 11 outings on the road (D4, L7) and they have lost five of their last six on their travels.

Granada have been extremely inconsistent over the last couple of months, though they impressively toughed out a 1-2 success at Valladolid on Sunday, just three days after their UEFA Europa League elimination.

Diego Martinez’ charges have won eight of their 15 home league matches this season and look a good bet to prevail here at around 11/8, while we’re going for 2-1 in the correct score market on the basis that Eibar have managed to strike in all but four of their 16 away games this term.
