After a long hard season for Greuther Furth, their seemingly inevitable relegation back to the second-tier will be confirmed at full-time with anything less than a win. In truth, beating Leverkusen seems like a pipe dream for Furth, who likely still suffer nightmares from their 7-1 drubbing in the reverse.

That defeat remains Furth’s worst defeat of the campaign, and the will to win remains for Leverkusen as their top-four status is far from concerned with just four games left to play.

Leverkusen often win well when they do so, only Dortmund and Bayern scored more than their 68 goals ahead of this round and that has equated to handicap-busting victories in 11 of their 15 league wins this season.

Leverkusen never losing

There is simply too big a gulf in class here for us to predict anything other than an away win. As such, we are siding with Leverkusen to maintain their top-four place while relegating Furth with a win in the -1 handicap market.
