Grimsby Town vs Swindon Predictions

Grimsby are worth backing to continue their strong home form when Swindon visit Blundell Park on Saturday. David Artell’s side have been winners in four of their last six League Two home games.

Swindon are sixth in League Two, one place above Grimsby, with both teams having won more games than they’ve lost this season. Swindon have 22 wins and 13 defeats, while Grimsby have 21 wins and 12 losses.

Grimsby maintained their winning habit with a 2-1 victory away at Cambridge United on Tuesday, winning at odds of 3/1 – the biggest price they have won at so far this season. Kieran Green opened the scoring on 23 minutes, with Cameron McJannet also notching.

The hosts have shown some signs of vulnerability at the back, with 22 goals conceded in 22 home games this season – an average of exactly one goal per game.

The Grimsby attack has been in good form lately, finding the net at least twice in five of their last seven League Two games. They have scored an average of 1.55 goals a game in their 11 matches against teams in the top six this season.
