      Leicester City to Win

      Reason for tip

Leicester look the bet to continue their strong home form against out-of-sorts Blackburn. The Foxes are unbeaten in five at the King Power and have conceded just three goals there all season. Blackburn, meanwhile, have lost four of their last six league games and failed to score in their last two, suggesting a comfortable home win is likely.

      Leicester City 2-0

      Reason for tip

A 2-0 Leicester victory fits the form. The hosts have won two of their four games this season by that margin and remain solid defensively, while Blackburn’s attack has been blunt away from home, scoring just four times in five trips. With both sides trending under 2.5 goals, a routine 2-0 looks the smart call.

Leicester Backed to Shut Out Struggling Blackburn

The best bet is a Leicester victory when they host Blackburn at the King Power Stadium on Saturday. The visitors’ last two Championship road trips have ended in defeat and they could struggle again here.

Leicester are tenth in the Championship, 11 places and seven points above Blackburn, having won four, drawn five and lost three of their 12 games this season, while the visitors have three wins, one draw and seven defeats.

The hosts should be confident of scoring. Leicester have been prolific going forward, scoring an average of 1.83 goals a game in their six Championship games against bottom-half teams this season, and 1.50 goals a game in their four home matches against such opponents.

The hosts are in good form at home, having lost just one of their last ten home games in the Championship. Leicester are unbeaten in their five home games this season.

The Leicester defence has been impressive at home this season, conceding just three goals in five Championship games – an average of 0.60 goals per game.

Backing Blackburn’s opponents during their current run of four defeats in six Championship games would have resulted in a profit of 3.38 units.

The visitors are enduring a rough spell. Blackburn have only won one of their last six Championship matches, and four of those have ended in defeat.

The visitors are not scoring enough goals. Blackburn have been disappointing in front of goal away from home this season, finding the net just four times in five games – an average of 0.80 goals a game on the road. They are on a run of two Championship defeats without scoring.

The visitors have shown defensive frailties in recent games, with Blackburn failing to keep a clean sheet in 12 of their last 15 Championship matches. They last recorded a shutout against Watford in September.

A 2-0 home win looks a decent correct-score option. There have been under 2.5 goals in five of Leicester’s last seven Championship games and two of their four successes this season have been by two goals, while three of Blackburn’s seven losses have ended with the same margin.
