Narrow win for Simeone’s side

Atletico Madrid are the best bet to win away at Mallorca on Sunday. The hosts have struggled at the back this season and Diego Simeone’s side can take advantage.

They are eight places above Mallorca in the table, but just four points separate the two sides. The hosts are yet to win this season, while Atletico have won once, drawn twice and lost once and can recover from the heartbreak of conceding late in Wednesday’s 3-2 defeat at Liverpool in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Mallorca could not break their losing run last time out, going down 3-2 away to Espanyol. They have now lost three of the four games this season in which they’ve shipped the first goal.

Mallorca are without a win in seven Primera Liga games and have lost five of their last seven matches. They have not won at home for three games, with their last two home league games ending in defeat.

Atletico have shut out Mallorca in their last four meetings in the league, and the visitors have gone four home games without keeping a clean sheet.

The visitors are in good form – Atletico Madrid have lost just one of their last six Primera Liga games.

Atletico Madrid have been in goalscoring form, finding the net in six consecutive games. They have scored in seven of their last eight Primera Liga matches, including a 4-0 victory over Girona in May.

A 1-0 away win for Atletico Madrid looks a decent correct-score bet. Unders has been a winning bet in six of the last seven Primera Liga games between these sides and three of the last four head-to-heads have seen Atletico win by the odd goal.
