Midtjylland vs Braga Predictions

Hosts still in with a chance

A 1-0 win in Belgrade three weeks ago leaves Midtjylland with an opportunity of progressing to the knockout stage but if they have any ambitions in making it to the next round they need a result here. The Danish side sit third in the group on five points, two behind Res Star while Braga lead the way on nine after three successive victories.

They have never beaten a Portuguese side in European competition but a positive result will leave them with a chance heading into the final matchday against a pointless Ludogorets.

The hosts have drawn each of their two home group games, 1-1. thus far and I’m backing them to at least get on the scoresheet here.

Braga on course for knockouts

Three straight wins have catapulted Braga to the top of Group F and the Portuguese outfit should be topping the group from here. They put a 6-1 loss to Benfica, prior to the international break, behind them by netting six of their own in a 6-0 hammering of Santa Clara in the League Cup at the weekend.

That defeat is their only loss in 12 matches and their last away outing in the Europa League saw them score four in a 4-2 victory at Ludogorets.

Midtjylland at home is a difficult task for any team and they will make life difficult for Braga but the visitors have been scoring for fun so back a 1-1 correct score here.
