Hosts to stay right where they are

Millwall currently occupy tenth place in the league standings and it’s roughly where most expect the ‘Lions’ to finish come the end of the season. They have finished between eight and eleventh in four of the last five seasons and it would seem as though Gary Rowett’s side are unlikely to trouble the upper echelons of the Championship. However, they have suffered just one solitary defeat across their last 13 home league matches (W10, D2).

On the flip side, many expected Reading to be firm contenders for relegation, but successive victories by way of a clean sheet for the first time since October see them sitting pretty in third place after five match days. But their away form requires improvement as they have emerged victorious in just one of their last nine away league outings.

Millwall to edge close encounter

It’s tough to say which way this one will go. However, we’re expecting Millwall to be disruptive and keep the game tight. They enter this one as favourites and have a strong recent home record. We’ll side with Millwall getting the win.
