Nantes vs Lens Predictions

Lens are solid favourites when they visit Nantes on Saturday, having won their last three Ligue 1 games as favourites. Back Pierre Sage’s side to pick up where they left off and secure another win at Stade de la Beaujoire.

Nantes are 16th in the table with just two wins so far, while Lens are top of the league having won ten of their 14 games.

The hosts are enduring a difficult run of results, with Nantes without a win in five Ligue 1 games. They have lost three of their last four home matches.

The visitors have the edge up front. No team has failed to score in more Ligue 1 games this season than Nantes, who have gone seven games without finding the net in their 14 matches. Lens, on the other hand, have scored at least twice in nine of their 14 games and come into this match on the back of a 4-1 win over Monaco last month.

The visitors have hit their stride, with Lens winning eight of their last ten Ligue 1 matches. They are on a two-game winning streak away from home and have won three of their last four on the road.

A 1-0 win for Lens looks like a decent correct-score bet. Three of Nantes’ last four Ligue 1 games have ended with under 2.5 goals and they have lost three times by a 1-0 scoreline this season.
