Napoli may well be the best team in Europe to watch based on current form. Having taken Ajax apart with a remarkable 6-1 win in Amsterdam last week, Luciano Spalletti’s team made it eight wins in the spin by hammering Cremonese 4-1 on Sunday, strengthening their grip at the top of Serie A. With Napoli able to secure a spot in the knockout stages with a win on Wednesday, Ajax should expect no let-up in the return fixture.

Napoli’s fluid attack has been in tremendous form of late, with the likes of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Hirving Lozano and Giovanni Simeone all coming to the fore. Ajax, meanwhile, are in dire need of a win after losing two of their first three Champions League games, but their recent defensive struggles make it difficult to see them testing Napoli. Napoli set to win another thriller

Napoli’s incredible recent form and depth of attacking talent makes it difficult to see anything but another high-scoring home victory on Wednesday, although the hosts’ record of two clean sheets in their last eight outings means Ajax should play their part.

While Napoli to win and over 2.5 match goals is our main tip for Wednesday’s contest, a 3-1 home victory could represent a decent correct score prediction.
