      Both Teams To Score

      Reason for tip

Napoli have scored at least twice in 11 of 20 Serie A games and have 30 goals overall. They have conceded in six of their last eight home matches. Sassuolo have failed to keep a clean sheet in 16 of their last 20 games, and both sides showed scoring potential in a recent 2-2 draw with Milan.

      Draw 1-1

      Reason for tip

Three of the last four Serie A meetings between Napoli and Sassuolo have finished under 2.5 goals. Four of Sassuolo’s last five league matches have also stayed under that line. Napoli are unbeaten in 20 home games but Sassuolo have drawn recent away fixtures, so back the pair to share the spoils.

      Napoli vs Sassuolo Predictions

      Sassuolo can trouble the champions

Napoli have scored at least twice in 11 of their 20 Serie A games this season, and the best bet is both teams to score when they host Sassuolo at Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Saturday.

They are third in Serie A, eight places and 17 points above 11th-placed Sassuolo, with 12 wins from their 20 games this season.

Napoli are in excellent form at home, having gone unbeaten in their last 20 home games in Serie A. In contrast, Sassuolo have not won any of their last four away matches and are finding it hard to put opponents away, with just one win in their last nine league games.

Both teams have their defensive issues. Napoli have conceded in six of their last eight home games, while Sassuolo have failed to keep a clean sheet in 16 of their last 20 matches.

Napoli will be backing themselves to score here. Only two teams have more Serie A goals than the 30 Napoli have scored this season.

Sassuolo have been in some low-scoring games of late – four of the last five have gone under 2.5 goals – but there were four goals in their clash with Milan in December, when they drew 2-2.

It could be hard to separate these two sides, with the 1-1 draw looking a decent correct-score bet. Three of the last four Serie A matches between this pair have stayed under 2.5 goals, and there have been under 2.5 goals in four of Sassuolo’s last five games.
