Nice look the best bet when they host Le Havre at the Allianz Riviera on Sunday. The visitors have lost six of their last seven Ligue 1 away games and Claude Puel’s side can take advantage.

Le Havre are 14th, one place above Nice in the table, but both teams have lost more games than they’ve won this season. This season, seven (47%) of the 15 games between teams in the bottom five of Ligue 1 have been home wins, and backing them to a one-point level stake would have shown a profit of 1.43 points.

Nice have been prolific against weaker opposition this season, averaging two goals a game in their five Ligue 1 games against other teams in the bottom five.

Le Havre are in poor form, on a run of six games without a win and have failed to win any of their last nine away games in the league.

They are going through a barren spell in front of goal, having been kept at bay in six of their last eight Ligue 1 away games. They have scored just seven goals in 13 matches on the road this season, an average of 0.54 goals a game, and have lost five of their last seven without finding the net.

The visitors have looked vulnerable in defence. Le Havre are on a run of seven Ligue 1 away days without recording a shutout and have failed to keep a clean sheet in 14 of their last 17 league games. They have conceded an average of 1.77 goals per game from their 13 away games this season.

A 2-0 home win for Nice looks the best correct-score bet. Five of the last six of Le Havre’s Ligue 1 games have gone under 2.5 goals and two of their last three away days have seen them beaten 2-0.
