Nice vs Le Havre Predictions
- Le Havre won the reverse fixture 3-1.
- Both teams have scored in seven of Nice’s last nine games.
- Le Havre have scored five goals across their last three away games.
Le Havre scrapping for survival
Le Havre have shown a bit of fight in recent weeks as they attempt to cling on to their Ligue 1 status but they face a stern test at Europe-bound Nice on Friday.
Les Aiglons are unbeaten in four but their home form has dipped recently. Nice won seven of their first 10 home games in Ligue 1, drawing the other three, but they’ve lost three of their last five at the Allianz Riviera – so Le Havre may be able to get something here.
Both teams capable of scoring
Nice are the clear favourites to win but Le Havre have impressed on the road recently, drawing at sixth placed Lens and at champions PSG in their last two away games, and look up for the survival fight.
The best bet could be both teams to score, as both of these sides are in good scoring form. Le Havre won the reverse fixture 3-1 and have hit five goals in total across their last three away games, while both teams have scored in seven of Nice’s last nine games and they have only failed to score in two of their last 12 at home.
Spoils could be shared
A draw could be on the cards as two of Nice’s last four games have finished level and Le Havre have drawn back-to-back road games ahead of this clash. 2-2 is the correct score pick as Nice have scored at least twice in each of their last three games and Le Havre have hit six goals in their last two games, so both teams could be capable of scoring more than once.
Visiting striker Andre Ayew looks a contender for a goal as he comes into the game after scoring in back-to-back games against PSG and Strasbourg. The former West Ham and Swansea man has a modest five goals in 17 Ligue 1 games but looks to be finding some end of season form and can continue his hot streak at Nice.
