Nice are the best bet to beat Monaco in the derby de la Cote d’Azur at the Allianz Riviera on Sunday. The visitors have lost three of their last four away games in Ligue 1.

Both teams have lost more games than they’ve won this season, with Monaco, in tenth place, having eight wins and nine defeats, and Nice, 13th, on six wins and ten losses.

Nice are in form going forward, having scored in their last four league games, including a 4-1 victory over Nantes two weeks ago. They have also managed to score at least twice in two of those matches.

The visitors are enduring a rough spell, with Monaco having failed to win five of their last six Ligue 1 games and not tasting victory in any of their last four away games.

They are struggling to score, with Monaco failing to find the net in three successive away games in Ligue 1.

A 2-0 home win looks a decent correct-score option. Five of Monaco’s last seven Ligue 1 games have ended with at least one of the sides failing to score, and two of Nice’s six wins this season have been by a two-goal margin.
