Notts County currently sit in 6^th place in the National League table and boast the 3^rd best home record in the division this season, the sole focus must now be on securing a home play-off semi by finishing second or third. Notts County have lost just three of their 17 home games this season and if they can maintain their strong home form for the remainder of the season, The Magpies may just return to the football league for the first time since 2019.

Chesterfield’s away form must be of concern to Cook

Chesterfield are yet to win on the road since Paul Cook returned to the club. The Spireites have failed to win any of their last four away games and their poor form away from home must be of concern as they enter a crucial point in the season. Chesterfield fell to a disappointing 1-0 defeat at Altrincham in midweek and suddenly, their hopes of a home semi-final look far less certain, there is now just a point between themselves and Wrexham in 4^th.

I will be siding with a home win in this one. Meadow Lane has been a fortress so far this season and a visit to Nottingham is the last thing Paul Cook’s side need with their recent struggles on the road.
