Top and bottom have already been decided in Group B, but Real Sociedad goes head-to-head with PSV Eindhoven to decide who will progress further into this competition and who will be playing in the Europa Conference League.

It’s simple for the hosts, they have to win as they sit two points behind PSV. The Spanish outfit are the favourites heading into this one despite being seriously out of form, losing their last three games in La Liga and Europe. They’re unbeaten against Dutch opponents on the European stage (W1, D2) but that could be under threat here given their downturn in form.

Visitors PSV won’t be bothered about their underdog status as they come into this one off the back of a seven match unbeaten run (W5, D2) and are still competing on all fronts. This will be their 34th match against Spanish opposition and whilst they’ve only won 15% of those games, a repeat of 55% of those fixtures would be enough to see them through here.

The hosts need to re-discover their spark as they have been exceptionally disappointing lately. Meanwhile, PSV has been playing some exciting football.
