Millers can make their mark

Having won their opening game of the season in League One, Rotherham have endured a four-match winless run, but the Millers can get back on track with a home victory over Exeter.

Rotherham limped to a 1-0 loss on the road at Doncaster last weekend but they tend to save their best efforts for the New York Stadium, where their two games this season have seen them beat Port Vale 2-1 and draw 2-2 with Wigan.

That means that the Millers are unbeaten in five home league games and this looks a good opportunity to restore confidence against Exeter, who have lost to nil on league trips to Northampton and Doncaster, as well as exiting the EFL Cup with a 2-0 defeat at League Two strugglers Cheltenham.

Rotherham have lost only two of their last seven league meetings with the Grecians, who still look a little light on firepower with them having only 48 shots across their opening six matches.

The hosts have scored at least twice in six of their last seven league games at the New York Stadium and taking them to win 2-1, which has been the scenario in three of those fixtures, makes appeal.
