Fiorentina to fall short again

Sassuolo have upset the odds a few times recently, winning two of their last three Serie A games as underdogs, and they should be backed to get another win at home to Fiorentina on Saturday.

They are ninth in Serie A having won five and lost six of their 13 games this season, while Fiorentina are 19th and have no wins, six draws and seven defeats.

The visitors have been disappointing in front of goal away from home this season in Serie A, scoring just four goals in seven games – an average of 0.57 goals a game on the road. Fiorentina have been kept at bay in four of their last six away matches.

They have shipped 10 goals on the road this season, an average of 1.43 per game from seven matches.

A 2-0 home win for Sassuolo looks a decent correct-score option. Three of Fiorentina’s last four Serie A matches have produced under 2.5 goals and they lost 2-0 to Atalanta in their last game.
