Sassuolo vs Roma Betting Tips

Sassuolo have enjoyed a fantastic season through the first half of 2015/16, better than anyone could have expected, but they have struggled a little bit in recent weeks. They’re win-less in their last four games, including defeats to Napoli and Bologna, and draws with Torino and Atalanta.

The biggest problem for Sassuolo is seven goals conceded in four games, that span comes after conceding just 17 times in their first 18 matches.

Roma aren’t necessarily in the finest form either. They did pick up a much-needed 3-1 win over Frosinone and they’ve now moved back into position to challenge for third and fourth place (initially) with Fiorentina and Inter Milan.

There were positive signs that Roma had re-discovered some of their attacking potential in a match-up against a potentially dangerous Frosinone side fighting for their Serie A survival.

1. Sassuolo lock down

We don’t think that their form in the early part of the season was a complete fluke and we’ll give Sassuolo an opportunity to lock this game down. They’ll put men behind the ball and look to shut things down.

2. Still doubts about Roma

Picking up three points and scoring three goals against a frail defence like Frosinone at home is one thing, travelling to play Sassuolo will be a different matter.

3. Good odds

Sassuolo as a double chance at home at 4/6 is a betting odds line that is too good to miss out on.
