Portsmouth spent last season battling the drop and seem set for another season of struggle. The U’s spend four years in League One before a campaign in League Two last term, and they only finished higher than 18th in one of those seasons. Of all the promoted teams, Cambridge are perhaps the most likely to drop straight back down.

Tranmere lost 20 of their final 26 games last season and only avoided the drop by two points. The two teams that came up from the National League should be competitive and that should result in an intense relegation fight, and Rovers look likely to be involved.

Ajax won the first leg 4-1 and with home advantage they can go one better against a limited opponent. Vojvodina may grab a consolation strike as Ajax struggled for clean sheets in Amsterdam towards the end of last season, so a 5-1 home win is the pick.

Coleraine have scored and conceded multiple goals in their last two home games while HJK have rattled in a total of 21 goals in their last six away trips. They can manage four again on the road as Coleraine struggle to keep pace with their classy attack in what could be an open game that ends with a 4-2 win for the visitors.
