Worrying times for Troyes

The hosts are in a bit of a rut and have not tasted a victory in seven of their last eight outings. It leaves them sitting twelfth in the table and it’s largely due to the fact that they are defensively the second worst side in the league with only rock bottom Angers (28) shipping more goals than Troyes (28). They have at least managed to hit the back of the net themselves in five of their six matches at Stade de l’Aube and they’ll want to improve by claiming victory.

The visitors have not fared much better and come into this one having suffered four consecutive losses in Ligue 1 and they have conceded at least two goals in all of those. They too have at least found the back of the net at least once in five of their last six road games and they may find more joy now they face a side with an equally poor defence.

Goals are the way to go

Neither of these teams seems to have a clue how to defend well and gift their opponents plenty of chances. As such, we think there could be a plethora of goals in this clash. We’ll side with over 2.5 goals being scored.
