Troyes troubles could continue

It has been an understandably tough season in the top-flight for promoted Troyes, but they are just about keeping their heads above water. However, the only way they can guarantee they will end 2021 outside of the drop zone is with victory here.

The hosts have now lost five of their last six league games though it has not been for the want of trying as they managed to at least get on the scoresheet in each of their last three.

Moreover, Troyes found the net in each of their last five H2Hs with Brest, albeit with only one victory to show for it (D1, L3).

Strong-travelling Brest to do the job

While Brest are but a mid-table side lingering in 12th, they are not a soft touch as evidenced by their league-high return of 12 points across the last five rounds.

What’s more is the fact that just four points separates them from the European placings, so the motivation to finish 2021 on a high is clear. Here, they look to record a fourth 2-1 victory over Troyes across the last six meetings.
