Stumbling Troyes

The hosts are in a bad way as they sit second from bottom of the table and enter this clash off the back of five consecutive defeats. In fact, they have failed to win any of their last eight league outings and a match against Monaco doesn’t look like a match that will see that run end. Despite their poor form, they have managed to hit the back of the net in five of those eight matches and will hope they can cause problems to this Monaco backline.

The visitors will be eyeing up all three points here and that would be the perfect way to bounce back after a disappointing 3-0 home defeat at the hands of Nice last time out. It was the first time they’d failed to hit the back of the net in Ligue 1 since March 2022 but boss Philippe Clement won’t be too concerned, particularly as his side sit just two points behind the league’s top two.

Monaco to take all three points

The visitors have hit a minor rough patch, but anything other than a win would be a big surprise in this matchup and they should be tipped to win. However, the hosts need to go for it to try and claim points and they should be good for a goal. With that in mind, we’ll side with a Monaco win and both teams to score.
