Leipzig are on a roll

Leipzig have won three of their last four away games in the Bundesliga and they look a good bet to pick up where they left off when they visit Hoffenheim on Saturday. Ole Werner’s side have only lost one of their last six on the road and can secure another win at WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar-Arena.

They are four places and six points above Hoffenheim in the table, but both teams have won more games than they’ve lost this season. The hosts are sixth with five wins and three defeats, while Leipzig are second with seven wins and one loss.

Leipzig maintained their winning habit last weekend, beating an in-form Stuttgart side 3-1.

The visitors were on a run of five victories in a row, but Leipzig, who were priced at 19/20 to win the game, comfortably obliged for favourite backers. This makes it four wins in the four matches in which Leipzig have been odds-on this season.

The hosts could do with turning things around, having lost five times in their last six home games in the Bundesliga.

The visitors will be confident of finding the net, with Leipzig having scored in eight consecutive games, including a 6-0 demolition of Augsburg two weeks ago. They have also netted three or more goals on three occasions this season.

The visitors don’t concede many goals – Leipzig have kept four clean sheets in their last six Bundesliga away games.

A 2-1 win for Leipzig looks a decent correct-score bet. Both teams have found the net in five of the last six Bundesliga games between these sides, so there should be goals for both teams here.
