Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Real have six wins in as many games this season across all competitions but have managed just one clean sheet in their last four La Liga games. Atletico have scored in 17 of their last 18 home games. Both teams have scored in each of the last three meetings and we’re expecting goals at both ends again in Sunday’s El Derbi Madrileno.

Draw 1-1

Reason for tip

Real have won all six of their games in all competitions this season but could see that winning streak ended by their city rivals. Atleti have a formidable home record, securing 10 successive victories at this venue. The last two meetings have finished 1-1 after 90 minutes and a repeat result could be on the cards.

Jude Bellingham To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Jude Bellingham has made a great start to his Real Madrid career with five goals in as many La Liga games and he can add to his account with a derby goal after hitting the only goal of the game in the midweek Champions League victory over Union Berlin.

  • Real Madrid have six wins in as many games this season.
  • Atleti have won their last 10 home games.

Madrid derby headlines Sunday’s La Liga fixtures

There is an El Derbi Madrileno to look forward to on Sunday as Real Madrid make the short trip to the Metropolitano Stadium to face city rivals Atletico.

Los Blancos have made a perfect sart to the season with six wins in as many games across all competitions.

Atleti have endured a mixed start, but this is only their second home fixture so far and they have an impressive record at this venue, having won each of their last 10 competitive home games in a run stretching back to early February.

Goals at both ends expected

There have been goals at both ends in each of the last three meetings between these two sides and Real head into this game in good scoring form, having managed 11 goals across their six games.

Los Rojiblancos have to score in two of their five games, but they have only drawn a blank once in their last 18 home games so should be expected to score.

Atleti can end Real’s winning run

The last two Madrid derbies have finished level after 90 minutes and I’m backing a 1-1 draw here. Real may have won all of their games but they’ve not been at their devastating best just yet either and they had to come from a goal down to beat Real Sociedad in their last league game, while Atleti’s exceptional home record suggests they can claim share of the spoils.

England international Jude Bellingham has made a great start to his Real career with five goals in as many La Liga games and he can add to his account with a derby goal after hitting the only goal of the game in the midweek Champions League victory over Union Berlin.
