BOOM! Our NHL tipsters are back with yet another winner!
Just 9 days after landing a very solid 8/1 NHL accumulator, they’ve once worked their magic and made our weekend with a 9/1 Acca (+ Double) winner on NHL last night!
9/1 NHL Accumulator lands
The NHL started very early last night and our first three tips on the Accumulator began at 10 pm.
Columbus was up first against the New York Islanders. Having enjoyed a five day break, tipping the Blue Jackets to win was a no-brainer for our tipsters. And it showed. They ran over the Islanders and cruised to a convincing 7:0 win, getting our Acca off to a fabulous start!
In the two other early games on our Acca, our tipsters decided to go with goals bets rather than tipping teams to win. That approach paid off as both games provided us with 7 goals each, which meant our “Over 5 goals” tip landed in the Washington game & the “Over 4.5 goals” tip came in in the Rangers @ Devils game.
With just two tips remaining, our bet was starting to look very good. Especially after Pittsburgh took a 2:0 lead against Philadelphia in the 4th game of the acca which was played in front of 67,318 fans. Philadelphia attempted a comeback, but luckily for us the Penguins managed to score two more goals to put the game beyond doubt and eventually win 4:2.
One game remained on our Acca, after the Pittsburgh game ended. It was the Colorado Avalanche who hosted the Buffalo Sabers, who haven’t won a game in Denver since December of 2005. The Sabers were also on a 6 day rest coming into this one and Colorado took full advantage of their sluggish start by grabbing a quick 3:0 lead in the 1st quarter – perfect for our “Over 5 goals” tip. Buffalo fought back and 3 more goals were scored in the 2nd period, which landed our tip and the Acca!
Combined with the Double, the total profit on the night was £155.50!
