The end of the season just gets better and better at FST HQ! After landing our 7/1 &  8/1 Win Accumulators & 16/1 MLS Accumulator, our analysts have done it again with a 14/1 Win Accumulator!

Here is how the story unfolded:

Our winning accumulator kicked off in Germany where Altona 93 hosted Eutiner SV. The home side were on the back foot early on, but managed to equalise after 22 minutes. Eutiner then responded with a goal 1 minute later, and a third on the 37th minute! Altoner must have had a motivating half-time team talk, because after 71 minutes they had completed the comeback and led 4-3! A tense final 20 minutes followed but the home side held on to secure the first leg of our bet.

Germany was also the location for leg 2, where 3rd and 4th positioned sides were battling it out in the Germany Regionalliga. Once again teams made it hard for us as VFB Lubeck found themselves losing after 27 minutes. A comeback before half-time meant the home side went into the break leading 2-1. We required Lubeck to seal all 3 points, which was halted by a 58th minute penalty from Slovenian midfielder Kramer. A late goal was required from the hosts, and in the 82nd minute defender Tim Weissmann delivered which resulted in Lubbock taking the 3 points!

Our accumulator then travelled to Lyon where Marseille were taking on Atletico Madrid in the Europa League Final. Our analysts had selected Atletico Madrid to win inside 90 minutes, however the Spanish side were on the back foot in the opening minutes. A poor pass from goalkeeper to midfielder resulted in Griezmann capitalising on a mis-placed touch, and Atletico Madrid led after just 21 minutes! Dimitri Payet was replaced through injury 10 minutes later and Marseille never grew into the fixture. With goals at each end of the second half from Griezmann and Gabi, the Europa League was sealed for the Spaniards as well as the third leg of our accumulator.

Finally our bet travelled to Rotherham where the Millers were trying to seal a spot at Wembley in the Play-Off final. A 2-2 draw in the first leg meant it was all to play for, and the hosts started off brightly. They were in control of the game but couldn’t make the breakthrough until the stroke of half-time, with Richard Wood bagging his 5th goal of the season. The Millers continued to pressure Scunthorpe, and they were rewarded for their efforts when Vaulks found the net in the 63rd minute, putting Rotherham 4-2 up on aggregate. A tense 30 minutes followed, but a 77th minute Scunthorpe red card sealed their fate and Roterham booked their place at Wembley, landing the final leg of our 14/1 Win Accumulator!
