Even in the close-season, with the majority of fixtures containing teams unrecognizable to most, our team of tipsters still manage to produce winners against all odds. This time it was our Both Teams to Score Accumulator landing at 8/1!

3 legs of Tuesday’s night’s accumulator came from FST-goal-haven Iceland and the other leg from the Champions League.
Fjardabyggd kicked things off against Fram Reykjavik and at half time things were looking shaky as they went into the break at 0-0. However, the saying “it’s not over till the final whistle” has never rang more true than in Icelandic football. Even at 2-0 down, Fram found the net with 4 mins to play to land leg 1.
Keflavik took an early 2-0 lead away to Thor Akureyi inside 30 mins. After the break, the home side really came back into the game and on 76 minutes, Stefansson put the ball home to keep our accumulator alive.
Dinamo Zagreb also took a 2-0 lead inside 30 mins of the penultimate leg away to Vardar of Macedonia. With the home side desperately needing a goal to stay in the tie, we were still confident on leg 3 and on the 54th minute our confidence paid off as Vardar scored to reduce their arrears.
Last up was another Icelandic leg, this time top of the table Akureyi travelled to Grindavik in what promised to be a cracking game. Strangely, for the 3rd game running the away side took a 2-0 lead into the half time break. Grindavik had a superb head to head record against the league leaders and ended up drawing the game with second half goals from Cruz and Josefsson. Accumulator landed!
