Liverpool have little to play for after wrapping up the title with a few games to spare and may now ease off, whereas Chelsea are battling for the top five and they can boost their Champions League hopes with three points against the champions.

Mainz are the bet to win at home to Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday. Mainz have defended well at home this season, conceding just 15 goals in 15 games and are the most profitable home team in the Bundesliga this season.

Bologna are unbeaten in nine at home and have won seven of their last eight Serie A games at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara. With Juventus struggling for consistency and clean sheets away from home, Bologna are tipped to secure a vital victory in the Champions League race.

Espanyol are tipped to beat Real Betis at home, having gone unbeaten in ten league matches at the RCDE Stadium. The visitors played midweek in Europe and have failed to keep a clean sheet in 17 of their last 20 league games, making this a good spot for the hosts.

Roma are strong at home, unbeaten in their last ten Serie A matches at Stadio Olimpico, and they can end Fiorentina’s winning run. The hosts have won eight of their last ten at home and face a Fiorentina side that have conceded in nine straight away league games.

Arouca lost 3-1 at Casa Pia earlier this term, while the visitors have conceded 1.53 goals per game on their travels. Arouca have scored in every home game with sides outside the top five.

The Cavs topped the Eastern Conference, putting up impressive numbers against the NBA’s strongest sides. They finished the season with the league’s best offensive rating, while they boast contenders for Defensive Player of the Year and Coach of the Year. The Cavs have a talented roster, which looks more cohesive under Kenny Atkinson’s watch. They head into the playoffs having put together three win streaks of 12 games or more this term, making this a standout price.

Rory McIlroy finally completed the career Grand Slam at the Masters last month, ending a decade-long Major drought in the process, and he will be relishing the chance to compete in the US PGA Championship at his beloved Quail Hollow Club.

McIlroy’s first PGA Tour title came at the Charlotte venue in 2010 and he’s gone on to win the Wells Fargo Championship at the course on a further three occasions. He is comfortable at this venue and, with a huge weight off his shoulders, can land a quickfire double.

Roma are sixth in Serie A, but they’re just two points shy of fourth with four games to play. The Giallorossi have bounced back from a nightmare start to put themselves in the Champions League race, with Claudio Ranieri leading an incredible turnaround.

Roma cycled through two managers by November, dismissing club legend Daniele De Rossi before a short stint for Ivan Juric. They won just four of their first 15 games, but Sunday’s 1-0 win at Inter Milan took their unbeaten run in the league to 18 games.

Roma have the best record in Serie A in 2025 by some distance, picking up seven points more than leaders Napoli. Their run-in is tricky, but this Roma side is playing so well it’s hard to look past them at this price.

Barcelona may have faltered in the first leg against Inter as the two sides delivered one of the games of the season, but Inter’s three goals came from just seven attempts on goal compared to Barcelona’s 20 efforts, and the Catalan giants have the quality to get the win in Milan next week.

They look good value to make the final in Munich later this month, and if they do get there, I would expect them to get the better of PSG or Arsenal.

It is difficult to look past the obvious in the women’s French Open as Polish phenomenon Iga Swiatek bids to claim her fifth title at Roland Garros and her fourth in succession.

The 23-year-old is the true definition of a clay-court specialist, having lost only two of her 37 matches on the Parisian red dirt, and when handed these conditions she remains extremely tough to thwart.

The world number two showed herself to be in excellent form at the recent Madrid Open and she should take all the beating.

With defending champion Carlos Alcaraz having to prove his well-being following his recent withdrawal from the Madrid Open, world number one Jannik Sinner returning from suspension and Novak Djokovic having to up his game, it could pay to go against the tide in the men’s French Open.

World number two Alexander Zverev is another player performing below his optimum and that means the value could lie with Casper Ruud.

The Norwegian simply thrives on this slower terrain and, having finished runner-up at Roland Garros in 2022 and 2023 as well as making last season’s semi-final, his consistency may be about to be rewarded.

Justin Thomas has struggled in his last two Masters starts – no surprise given the downturn in his form generally – but he ended 2024 by finishing second and third in his last two events. He’s well suited to Augusta, where his approach play and scrambling ability are huge assets.

At the back end of a gruelling season, the US Open can sometimes throw up strange results and there are often surprises before the September silverware is eventually secured. It could, therefore, be worth going against the head of the market and hard-court specialist Daniil Medvedev ticks plenty of boxes at a nice price.

Jack: Lyon beat Rennes 4-1 last Saturday and they can continue their Champions League push with a high-scoring win over Lens, with over 3.5 landing in four of Lyon’s previous six.

Dan: Tottenham continue to focus on the Europa League, opening the door to a West Ham side who need a result.
