47/1 Correct Score Double lands
Our Correct Score Double was focused on two friendlies in Spain, as the European champions hosted Serbia in Villarreal. A first-half brace from Mikel Oyarzabal helped the Spanish to a 2-0 lead, before Osasuna’s Victor Munoz wrapped up the win in the second-half.
We had backed Spain to win to nil as Friday’s Bet of the Day at 21/20, and Serbia barely threatened, recording only two shots against a dominant Spanish side.
Two World Cup dark horses met in Madrid, as newly-crowned AFCON winners Morocco met Ecuador. Both sides were aiming to extend their long unbeaten runs into the summer, and Morocco kept theirs intact thanks to an 88th-minute equaliser through Neil El Aynaoui. Ecuador struck early in the second half through John Yeboah, and that 1-1 draw saw our 47/1 Correct Score Double land!
We also had under 2.5 goals in the Morocco game, paired up with over 2.5 in Netherlands vs Norway. A 2-1 win for the Dutch landed that 8/5 double, taking us to three winners for the night.
We picked up another win in the early hours of Saturday, as our NBA Best Bet landed. We backed the Washington Wizards with a +13.5 handicap against an injury-plagued Golden State Warriors side, and the Wizards kept things competitive with a 131-126 defeat, adding a 10/11 winner to Friday night’s successes.
